Privacy Notice

Scope: Verafye (operating under FinFusion) is the data controller for information collected on this website. This Privacy Notice explains what personal data we collect through our site, how we use and share it, and your rights under applicable laws (GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, India DPDP, UAE PDPL, etc.). Verafye’s services are B2B, so the personal data we handle is generally business contact information and visitor data, not consumer data.

Information We Collect

  • Contact & Identity: Name, job title, company name, business email address, phone number (provided when you contact us or register interest).
  • Company & Transactional Data: Business address, industry, any content you send (such as inquiry details).
  • Online Identifiers & Usage: IP address, device/browser type, pages visited, date/time stamps, and cookies data (see Cookie Policy above).
  • Communications: Content of any messages you send us (e.g., via contact forms or support).
  • Other Sources: We may receive data about you from third parties (e.g., if your company refers you, or through our marketing partners, with your consent).

We do not collect sensitive personal information (e.g., health, race, religion) through the website.

How We Use Your Data

We process personal data for purposes compatible with your relationship with us, including:

  • Providing information and support about Verafye services and responding to inquiries.
  • Communicating updates (e.g., newsletters or event invites), with your consent.
  • Personalizing and improving the website and user experience (e.g., analyzing site usage data).
  • Security and fraud prevention, including protecting our systems and users.
  • Compliance and legal obligations (e.g., accounting, legal claims, audits).
  • Enforcing our policies and terms (e.g., investigating abuse of the site).

These uses are based on various lawful grounds: for example, consent (for optional marketing emails), legitimate interests (for securing our service, managing our business, or improving the site), and contractual or legal necessity (when responding to a service request or complying with a legal duty).

Data Sharing

  • Service Providers: Third-party vendors who support our website operations (e.g., hosting, email, analytics, customer relationship management, and marketing tools). We require these providers to use data only as directed by Verafye.
  • FinFusion Affiliates: Other companies in the FinFusion group may process data to the extent needed for our joint business purposes (subject to FinFusion’s global data policies).
  • Legal Authorities: If required by law or to protect Verafye’s rights, we may disclose data to government or regulatory authorities (e.g., in response to a subpoena or data protection inquiry).

Verafye does not sell your personal information. We only share data as described above, and always under confidentiality obligations.

International Transfers

Verafye is a global organization. Personal data collected via this website may be transferred to and processed in countries outside your own (e.g., the US, UAE, India, EU). Whenever transfers occur, we use appropriate safeguards: for EU/EEC data we rely on EU Standard Contractual Clauses or other approved mechanisms; for other transfers we ensure a level of protection comparable to EU standards.

Data Retention

We retain personal data only as long as necessary for the stated purposes or to comply with legal requirements. For example, inquiry/contact information is typically kept for the duration of our business relationship and thereafter for recordkeeping (e.g., 3–7 years for legal purposes). Usage data (logs, analytics) are retained in aggregated or anonymized form.

Your Rights

Your rights depend on your location and applicable law. In general, Verafye users may have:

  • Access and Portability: Right to request a copy of your personal data that we hold (in a machine-readable format).
  • Correction: Right to request rectification of inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Deletion (Erasure): Right to request deletion of your personal data, subject to legal exceptions.
  • Restriction/Object: Right to object to or restrict processing based on legitimate interests or direct marketing.
  • Consent Withdrawal: Where processing is based on consent (e.g., marketing communications), the right to withdraw consent at any time.

Rights under CCPA/CPRA (California)

California residents may request disclosure of the categories of personal information collected, its sources, purposes of use, and with whom it is shared. California consumers also have the right to delete their personal data and to opt-out of any “sale” or “sharing” (again, we do not sell data). California law also grants the right to correct inaccurate information and to limit use of sensitive data.

To exercise any rights, or for privacy inquiries, please contact us (see “Contact Us” below). We will respond in accordance with applicable law (generally within one month). If you believe we have violated your privacy rights, you may lodge a complaint with a data protection authority in your jurisdiction.
